Tuesday I managed to get up and out on my bike.  The first time I'd done that in quite a while.  I headed into work Market to Sanchez to Page to Webster to Post to Kearny to Pacific to Clay to Sansome.  I headed over to visit Mr. Criss over lunch.  His dogs are still talking to me which was a surprise because they seemed pretty sick of us by the time they got picked up on Monday.  I picked up donuts at Pepples on the way back to my desk and they were just delicious.

After work I went for a great ride.  I headed off Pacific to Fillmore to Jackson.  I stopped for some pics of some of the glorious homes in Presidio Heights on Jackson:

This house is Tudorlicious:

I continued on Jackson to Arguello to Washington and over to the WWII Maritime Memorial which is dedicated to members of the armed forces who died during WWII defending the coastal waters.  It was built in 1958 and it's pretty fantastic:

I love the way it looks from a distance.  It's like a manifestation of the invisible wall that protected our coasts during the war.

I headed over to El Camino Del Mar and made my way up to the Legion on Honor museum.  I took a bunch of pics:

Pax Jerusalemme:

They've done a lot of work around Sutro Baths.  Plan on me dragging Mr. Poe there come summer:

Ocean Beach:

I made my way down to JFK and headed into Golden Gate Park.  I followed that to Kezar to Page to Scott to Duboce to Noe to Market to 17th to Ord and home for dinner.  After dinner I watched a lecture on early 20th art and went to bed.
