Sunday was the first day of the Lifecycle.  I managed to be the first one out of the gate again and had the route pretty much to myself all day.  Which was nice.  Elliott beat me my 15 minutes, the bastard, but I managed to be second in at 11:30.  We went and got food and by the time we were done the gear trucks had come so we got our tents up and then got cleaned up.  I had some dinner and I went to bed.  Fantastic day.  Here are some pics:

This is 'Coney' the safety mascot.  His sidekick (not pictured) is the Crisco Kid.

Saturday I got up early and headed down to the Cow Palace to register for the Lifecycle.  Argh.  I always forget to take more pics and I only took one.  Here's my friend Colleen:

I finished pretty early and managed to snag a ride home from my friend Grady.  I dropped off my drag and headed downtown to go meet Ms. Smith.  We headed to the Mission for lunch and then we went to Clarion Alley to go look at the art:

Then we headed over to Bernal Heights for the views:

I said goodbye to Nathan and then headed to go get my nails done with Elliott.  Here's some silver fox realness I'm serving up:

Elliott had dinner at our place and then I went to bed.  Big day tomorrow!

Tuesday was walk2werq Tuesday although I probably should have just stayed in bed because it was so wet and drizzly.  I headed out to St. Ignatius in Pacific Heights but there was a service going when I got there so I didn't go in an walk around.  I got some pics:

I headed back to work via Russian Hill and got a bunch of pics on the way:

I went to the noon services at Grace Cathedral in the Chapel of Grace whose architect clearly went back for seconds on splendour.  The flowers were really pretty although I wasn't sure whether they were left over from a weekend wedding as they seemed to be in somebody's signature colors of Blush and Bashful:

I headed back to the office and then I went to the gym after work.  I was really beat by the time I got home.  It had been a long day.

Monday I went to the gym in the morning and I rode for a couple of hours on a spin bike.  I was pretty beat by the time I was done.  This is an 'after' photo:

Mr. Poe took me out to lunch and then I got the dogs and took them out to Diamond Heights to go visit Walter Haas park.  We haven't had the greatest weather this May but there was a little sun and I got a bunch of pics:

I took the dogs home and then went and hung out with Mr. Chris at Sabine's new place on Corbett which is super fantastic.  Then I headed home for dinner and I went to bed.  Long ass day.

Sunday I finished cooking for our party.  We had the riders from our Lifecycle Series over for lunch.  I made a predictable armada of desserts:

Pics from the Party:

After everybody left we got cleaned up and then we headed to the Edge for a fundraiser which was really fun.  I love the Edge because they serve enormous Long Island iced teas in a jelly jar.  I have yet to finish an entire one:

We headed home for dinner and then we went to bed.  Fun day.
